I launched my trucking career in 2018, specializing in Intermodal freight transport across the Northeastern region of the United States. For the first year and a half, I navigated the complexities of Intermodal logistics, developing a deep understanding of freight movement, equipment utilization, and operational efficiencies. By mid-2019, I transitioned into the role of an Independent Contractor and Driver Mentor, where I combined my entrepreneurial ambitions with a passion for training the next generation of CDL drivers. My role extended beyond delivering freight—I was actively shaping and preparing new drivers for the demands of Over-the-Road (OTR) trucking, all while managing the financial and operational aspects of my own trucking business.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to my profession, I structured my schedule to maximize efficiency and profitability, spending extended periods on the road—three months at a time—returning home only for a 34-hour reset before resuming operations. My first year as an independent contractor resulted in a net profit of $78,000, following a $54,000 investment in my truck and its operations. Over the next two years, I maintained financial stability and consistent revenue generation, refining my expertise in cost management, load optimization, and business scalability.
After taking a much-needed break, I encountered a pivotal life moment—the realization that I was expecting a child. While I remained committed to the industry, the physical demands of OTR trucking eventually required me to make a strategic shift. Understanding the importance of long-term sustainability, I made the decision to return my truck and trailer to the leasing company and transition into a new phase of my career while embracing life as a stay-at-home parent in Eastern North Carolina.
However, my passion for trucking never faded. With five years of hands-on experience in freight logistics, business operations, and driver mentorship, I recognized a unique opportunity to apply my industry knowledge in a way that directly supports Owner-Operators and Independent Contractors. This realization led to the establishment of The Black Rose Dispatcher, LLC, a certified freight dispatching company dedicated to providing strategic, results-driven dispatch services for professional drivers.
At The Black Rose Dispatcher, LLC, our philosophy is simple: We only succeed when our drivers succeed. Unlike traditional dispatching services, we take a strategic, data-driven approach to freight management, ensuring that every load booked aligns with the financial and logistical goals of our clients.

Tasha began her trucking career in 2018 with TransAm Trucking, where she quickly adapted to the demands of Over-the-Road (OTR) operations, covering nearly every state in the continental U.S. Throughout her three years as a company driver, she gained extensive long-haul experience, successfully navigating diverse terrains and logistical challenges. While her routes excluded Hawaii, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho (selective deliveries only), and Washington State, she developed a deep understanding of nationwide freight movement and strategic route planning.
Recognizing the need for greater work-life balance while raising a young child, Tasha made a calculated transition from OTR trucking to the oil field industry. Her decision was driven by the opportunity to continue working in high-demand, specialized freight operations while maintaining a more stable home life. Known for her resilience and adaptability, Tasha developed a strong skill set in oil field logistics, equipment handling, and safety compliance—further solidifying her reputation as a highly skilled and reliable driver.
In addition to her extensive OTR and oil field experience, Tasha possesses a unique understanding of extreme weather trucking conditions, particularly in Northern states where drivers frequently contend with harsh winter climates, icy roads, and unpredictable terrain. Her ability to sympathize with and support drivers operating in these challenging environments makes her an invaluable asset to the industry.
Currently based in Wyoming, Tasha faced an unexpected challenge—an injury requiring shoulder surgery, temporarily preventing her return to the oil field. However, her dedication to the trucking industry remained unwavering. Rather than stepping away, she leveraged her extensive experience and transitioned into freight dispatching—allowing her to continue working in the field she loves while ensuring that drivers remain profitable and well-supported.
Tasha is now a dedicated dispatcher at The Black Rose Dispatcher, LLC, where she applies her firsthand knowledge of freight logistics, OTR operations, and extreme weather trucking to support Owner-Operators and Independent Contractors. Her mission is simple: maximize driver earnings while providing strategic and efficient dispatching solutions.
Expert Load Planning & Route Optimization – Ensuring drivers operate on the most efficient and profitable routes.
Freight Sourcing & Negotiation – Securing top-paying loads through industry connections and advanced load board access.
Driver-Centered Support – Understanding the challenges of life on the road and providing logistics solutions that work for drivers, not just brokers.
Full Back-Office Assistance – Managing rate confirmations, invoices, compliance paperwork, and carrier contracts to streamline operations.
Tasha’s role is not just about dispatching—it’s about empowering drivers, increasing profitability, and keeping operations running seamlessly. She remains fully committed to helping Owner-Operators and Independent Contractors achieve long-term financial success and operational efficiency.
If you’re looking for a highly experienced dispatcher who understands the industry from both behind the wheel and behind the desk, Tasha is here to ensure your business runs smoothly and profitably.
